MS Office 2000 Premium compatability with MS XP OS

I have changed OS to XP and installed Office 2000 Premium
but whenever I open an Office package [Outlook or Word Etc]
I get an error message which apologises for having to
close the app. Sometimes Outlook will open and let me
download mail but then it will error message me again.
Does anyone have any ideass. I have had the comp protected
against MS Blaster llast week

uninstall office and detele the Microsoft office folder
in your program files. and reinstall it again
