MS Office 2000 update file installation

Despite following directions on the MS Office website AND having the CD with
MS Office on it, cannot get a successful update installation. Also tried the
larger file option but it still shows a CD may be required for installation.
Even that option with the CD does not install. Is there anything else I can
do?

Don't have Office 2003. But I think I have figured out the problem by
reading other links on Office 2000 at MS Office website. Thanks
