I tried to update Office via Internet without having original software
available as my son had the disk. The dowload did not work for the above
reason. Now I have the requests and error messages appearing all the time.
Please advise me as to how I can delete the MS Office 2000 request for the
software, as it appears constantly. I will continue on with Office 1997 as I
had no problems with it.

Do you still have any parts of Office 2000 installed? Check in your Add\Remove
