MS Office 2000P won't install on XP, says MS0 2000P too old

I installed MS Office 2000 on my Compaq Laptop when I
bought it. It worked fine.

My hard drive crashed, and Compaq sent me a new Hard
Drive. I used the system restore CD to restore XP. Then I
tried to install MS Office Professional, but got a
message that Office was too old. Looks like MS is trying
to sell me a newer version of Office. The only
difference, that I can see, is that I downloaded 68
Security Updates, Windows Updates and drivers (to get
completely up to date). I suspect one of the windows
updates caused me to get this error. Anybody know which
one? I could uninstall that one, and install Office.

Regards,
Richard

What an Idiot I am. I had the MS Win 2000 disk, not the
MS Office Professional disk. When I used the right disk,
it worked fine. Sorry for posting this.
