MS Office 2003 clean re-installation ignored by the computer

Hi,

After uninstalling and re-installing MS Office 2003, I still find the
same customization problems I had on Word 2003, regarding the main menu. I
mistakenly deleted the File menu and the Table Menu. I tried the "Detect
and Repair" command from the Help menu, the "Rearrange" from the Customize
dialog box, the "Repairing Office..." from the Add/Remove Program dialog
box, and, finally, I unistalled Office and re-installed it as stated at the
beginnig of this paragraph, but the File and Table menus are stilll missing.

In addition, I lost the drivers of the MS Document Image Writer. It
doesn't appear on the Advanced tab of the Generic / Text Only printer's
properties, even though the port selected on the Port tab is the MS Document
Image Writer. Is there any possibility to find the drivers manually trough
the "Have Disk" command button?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Best Regards,

Mr. Thanasis Soltadis

Uninstall and then reinstall the Microsoft Office Document Imaging
feature using your Office 2003 CD:
1. Close all running applications. If you have any Office
application running, the MODI feature will not be installed properly.
2. Click on Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs.
3. Click on "Microsoft Office 2003" and then click on "Change".
4. Check "Add or Remove Features" and click "Next".
5. On the bottom of the page check "Choose advanced customization
of applications." and click "Next".
6. Under Microsoft Office click on the + sign in front of
"Office Tools" to expand the category.
7. Click on the little black downward-pointing triangle to the
left of "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" and select "Not Available".
8. Click on "Update" to uninstall the MODI feature.
9. Repeat steps 1 to 6 to go back to the same location you were
before.
10. Click on the little black downward-pointing triangle to the
left of "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" and select "Run All from My
Computer".
11. Click on "Update" to reinstall the MODI feature.
