MS Office 2003 - printing problems

I am using MS Office 2003 and am unable to print either a Word document or
an Excel document. I can sometimes print envelopes.

I have an HP OfficeJet 710 and have updated drivers. I can print a test
page and can print from the Internet (although the footer that states the
date and the web address are cut in half.) I recently purchased a new PC
and am now using XP. When I was using Win2000, I never had a printing
problem. I'm really frustrated. I need help. Thanks in advance.
