MS Office 2003 Pro conflicts with MS Works 2003 Suite

I have MS Works 2003 Suite installed. Through my work I
can install MS Office 2003 Pro, but have heard that there
are conflicts. Is this true or have they been resolved?
Can I run both these programs on one computer?

My email is IncrediMail.

The only potential conflict is in the Word version included with Works. I
would uninstall Word separately, then install Office 2003.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
