MS Office 2003

I have a new program for use at our free clinic called RX
Assist (which is a recently upgraded program). My MS
Office will not let me install the program. I was told by
IT that MS Office 2003 is "too new" and the program will
only install with MS Office XP or earlier. Can this
problem be corrected.
Will I have to "downgrade" my MS office in order to be
able to use the RX Assist?!!!

sjm,
If this is an addin for an Office version, it will have to be compatible with Office 2003 to install.
Have you checked for an upgrade or new version?
If this is server-based it will have to be compatible with the server software.
