Ms office 2008...numbers problem

I've just installed Ms office 2008 and now when I type letters,all of my numbers come out as letters almost like roman numerals. This is happening in Imail , Word, and Exel. The funny thing is that it does not happen to all of the documents, some of them it actually works correctly.

Any ideas on wht I need to change?

Any ideas on wht I need to change?

Have you restarted your machine since installing Office? Doing so rebuilds
the font caches which sounds like it may be your problem.
