MS Office 2k3 - OneNote

I have a problem with OneNote and its something that
happens to all the tablets I install it on. For some
reason if you go to highlight a single word when creating
a note, it creates a file size of 1.5mb! That is HUGE!!!
Why does this happen?
Is there a work around for this or a fix?

I've never seen it on my tablet or laptop, no matter how hot it got (Toshiba
Portege 3500).

What version of OneNote are you using, SP1? I've never seen that behavior
on any of my notebooks/desktops but it may be a Tablet thing.

Haven't see it here, and I've tried it one three Tablets. I'm also running
SP1 on each.

Ya, I checked the MS website for updates and it seems to
have the latest.
It's on my boss' tablet so I'm going to see if he can send
me the file for testing.
Any suggestions at this point?

We did fix some bugs related to unexpectedly large files with ink for Sp1.
If you only checked the Office Update site, then you don't have the SP1
preview. Check Help/About for the version number - if it has numbers
starting in "56", like 5604 or 5606, then you are not using the preview. The
Office Update site does not yet have the SP1 final build.

Also, try doing a "Save As" of that file and check the size of the new file
created by the Save As.
