MS Office Access 2003

We have a Front-end/Back-end application running at a
Client's site in Access 2000 and Windows 2000.
I am testing the software in Office Access 2003 and
Windows XP SP1.
I have a form with a continuous-forms sub-form. On this
sub-form there is a field with conditional formatting
where the condition is: Display the field with Red
background where the Expression is: [fFlag] = True.
The form hangs Access on loading, sometimes the PC hangs,
at other times, I can select other Access forms in the
same database from the taskbar but I cannot use them.
I have to use Task Manager to End Task the application.
If I remove the conditional formatting, the form does not
hang.
Any ideas, anyone? Bearing in mind that I do need the
conditional formatting!

Richard, I have seen this behaviour from conditional formatting.

Before it hangs it appears to go into some kind of loop. Can't recall
exactly, but the conditional formatting triggers something like
recalculation of the form, which re-triggers the formatting, which
retriggers ...
and eventually it quits or crashes.

I have the same problem with Access 2003
However it still occurs when you set a control source equal to something too
Let me knwo if you figure out how to fix this please
