MS Office and Apple

No, it is not Free - it must be used with Exchange so your cost is an
Exchange server. There is no standalone version of Outlook for the Mac.
The closest it comes is Entourage which comes with Office X.

Hi Gaz,

As mentioned, there Office:Mac is designed specifically
to take advantage of some of the features of the Mac.
The Microsoft homepage for Mac software
http://microsoft.com/mac includes a link for
a 30 day trial copy of Office:Mac v.X

You can run the Windows version of MS Office on
a Mac using a VMware Windows emulator (although it's
not something specifically supported by Microsoft).
You may want to check with the folks in the
Office:Mac newsgroup for details
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.mac.office
