The package that we purchased, MS Office educational
version - for students and teachers - 2003, is supposed to
require a student or educational ID which will qualify us
for the lower price that we paid. The salesperson and the
outside of the package informed that an "education"
registration screen would pop up during product
registration, and that we would need to input our student
ID's in this page. If this is not completed, I was told
that the MS office package will lock out in 2 mos.
Well, no additional registration screen ever came up. I
registered Office normally and was never asked for a
student ID. I cannot find any on the MS website or any
other literature about this education verification
screen. Does anybody have this version of office? How
can I make sure that our programs do not expire?
