MS Office Pic Manager need to be able to cut/copy parts of images and make
new images. Paint is not satisfactory for this - you cannot zoom out to get
whole section of image. MS Image Editor in Windows 2000 was MUCH better than
Picture Manager, Paint or Kodak Imaging. How can I get it back ???

It is not on the XP CD, it is a feature of 2000, otherwise I would have
installed it. My point is Picture Manager needs to be changed, features
added.

Humm Photo editor is no more. Don't know what is in Office 12. But
you're not likely to see any changes in the version you have.

None of the above applications are as good as they might be for picture
editing. Do a Google search for photo editors and you should find on that
will meet your needs, I use a freeware application called Irfan View, it's
available at: http://www.irfanview.com/ You should download the program and
a package of plugins.

There are others and one should fit your needs.
