Hello, I had to uninstall Office Pro because everytime I tried to ope
up an IE 7 web page I was getting the windows installer popping u
wanting to configure Office Pro 2003. I let the installer run and the
I was able to view the web page I was trying to view. All IE7 page
opened normally.

Unfortunately I can't reinstall my Office Pro 2003 as I get thi
message that stops dead any further installation.

Message:An internal error has occurred. Error 2209.

I have a P4 2.8 pc 1 gig RAM running XP Pro SP2.

Thanks to anyone that can help. I've tried to Google re; error 2209 an
have not gotten any helpful advice. This seems to be a difficult proble
to solve.

I'm hoping someone can crack it for a solution

I have been able to resolve this issue. It seems that an AntiSpyWar
program was the culprit, it was not allowing the cd to run its prope
setup. I disabled the ASW and the cd ran as normal.

I was able to reinstall MS Office 2003 successfully
