MS Office should run on Solaris o/s to avoid running emulators

Although we continue to push for a MS environment, many of our CAE/CAD
applications are limited to Sun Solaris o/s. MS Office is our standard suite
and requires us to run emulators from Sun Workstations.

MS Office should have a version running under the solairs (and possibly
other o/s). Our company is looking at the Star Office alternative due to it's
cross platform capability.

While I doubt this is in Microsoft's current business plan, you may wish
to write to Microsoft anyway and ask them to please port Office to Sun
Solaris. You might want to ensure to follow up with them to ensure a
response.
