MS Office toolbar

The icons in my office (XP) toolbar periodically turn black. In earlier
version the toolbar could be refreshed or rebuilt in a tweak UI option. I
have neither of those. Does anyone know how to fix this annoyance?

Can you right-click on an empty area of the Office Shortcut Bar, then
left-click on Refresh Icons?
