i have recently re formatted my pc, i am in the process of doing all MS
updates. owever wheni do the MS office updates (with cd in cd rom) it comes
back with Unsuccessful installation on servce pack 3 english.

Best practice on updating Windows and Office on a fresh format is to update
in order of service pack release for either. Usually the last sp applied will
be to Windows. You can find much information by serching here:
