MS Office XP Professional

Wow, I really hope someone has some advice for me. No
matter what application I try to run (email, browser,
software applicatons etc) MS Office XP Professional tries
to reinstall itself. It goes through its setup process
and then asks me for the CD, which I don't have. The
only temp fix I have found is a system rollback, but it
does not last. Any help would be appreciated.

PS - I already went to the windows update and rec'd all
the patches and upgrades for windows, ran virus
definition update and scanned...no luck.

Are you logged on as the Admin (not a local admin) when this happens? Why
don't you have the CDs anymore - they are regularly required when updating
Office XP.

Im logged on as the sole owner. This is a home PC that I
bought at a "going out of business" sale a local retailer
had. It was the last day of his business and he was
selling everything including the sink. Not sure why I am
able to get the updates w/o the CD's but I've never had a
problem until now.
