MS Ofice 2007 Neta error in Outlook

I hope that is the right group for is posting.

I installed MS Office 2007 Beta 2 (side by side with MS Office 2003, not an
upgrade) on my PC at work. Of course with all the programs except for
Outlook you have double, which is good. When I start Outlook I get a message
that says:
The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook.

I have restarted, repaired, and created a new profile and I still get this
message.
I am running this on Windows XP (SP2) OS.
Does anyone have a clue?

I don't think you can have two versions of Outlook installed working on one
machine. What sort of mail server are you trying to communicate with?
