MS Outlook 2003 AutoArchive location

M

Matt Giblin

I'm looking for a way to change the location for the auto archiving location.
Currently, it is set to c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\. I want to
save it to a network drive. We want this done automatically instead of our
technicians trying to remember this step during deployment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836755/, but be warned that Microsoft doesn't support storing .pst files on network drives and warns that corruption is likely.

Sue, on a similar note, how do I handle when a user changes their name? This
needs to be done. upon attempt, access to .pst's were 'not allowed'.

Sorry, but you lost me. How does a user's name change figure into this?
