MS Outlook 2003 problems

Tom C

Last week starting on 4-2-09 a group of emails, about 120, came in starting
late that day. There must have been a bug with them because on Friday and
since they continue to download over and over again about every 5-10 minutes
even after I delete them.

I've talked to my internet service provider and they have checked every
thing on their end and they say something has gone wrong with my OUtlook
program.

HELP HELP HELP! Anyone know what is happening and how I can stop this.
It is driving me crazy.

Thanks,

Tom C

What type of email account? if you log into your providers web interface,
are the messages there? Do you use an antivirus scanner on incoming email?

Diane thanks for your response. My email account is Road Runner thru Time
Warner. I was able to go to website and find only the new emails I had not
been receiving since this Monday morning about 10:00am. None of the old ones
appear to be there. I assume they always have downloaded into my Outlook. I
believe I do use an antivirus scanner on incoming email. Infact my McAfee
account just expired at the end of March so I got information from Road
Runner that they had a wonderful(?) free Internet Security package called CA
Internet Security. I installed this on this computer on 4/2/09 and now that
I think about it my problems began happening shortly after I installed this
program. I did not realize I had the problem until Monday of this week when
I first turned on my computer on Monday as I was out of the office on Friday.
I hope this is helpful information. I hope you have a solution because out
of the 5 people I have talked to personally no one has come up with a
solution. Everyone seem to want to point the finger at all the others.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
