MS Outlook 2007 cannot receive incoming mail from server

My HP 8020n tower Vista computer was recently stalled, and unable to reboot.I
reset to factory settings, and loaded the SP1 and 2, and other stuff..
Performance wise its good. Now with my outlook, i have problems receiving
incoming mail from the server. It seems everything is set up correctly.. (It
was working before). I have sites hosted at Godaddy.com on a virtual
dedicated server. I have a mail forwarder on these sites and I receive the
"test message" from outlook at my hotmail account. I checked with optimum
online, with Godaddy, i can send out mail but cannot receive. I have a
linksys router. I have disabled all sorts of firewall, but no luck. I need
this issue resolved.
Secondly, I have an HP 3055 all in that. It’s a network printer. Its
printing fine. But previously it would scan to desktop, and now i cannot
reinstall the CD, its failing for some reason.
