Found the problem, but don't know how to correct it. In the Mail
Folders,
under All Mail Items, I have 2 groups - the standard set = Personal
Folders
(Deleted Items; Drafts; Inbox; Junk E-mail; etc.);
and a 2nd set grouped under the e-mail Outlook is connected - my work
e-mail
- (Inbox; Junk E-mail; sent items).
I moved an e-mail from this 2nd Inbox to the first Inbox under Personal
Folders, and when in this new folder the full flag menu is accessible.
Now my question is: How do I set my e-mail up so that it uses this
standard
set of folders under Personal Folders, rather than the new set of
folders
created when I first set-up the Outlook link to my work e-mail?
I hope this description is understandable ... :->
:
No luck ... though I'm new to Vista and and can't find the 'run'
command
line
I'm accustomed to in XP, and as suggested at the URL below. I tried
the
'Outlook /cleanview' command in the <start search> box found in the
Start
dialogue box in Vista.
This is a work computer, but since I can get the full menu for the
flags
when in the Tasks portion of Outlook (but not in the Mail portion), it
seems
unlikely that there's a group policy causing this problem.
:
Try resetting the view.

What is available in onenote has no bearing on outlook - they are
two
totally different programs.
Is this on a computer at work? if so, is there a group policy
blocking
them?
Do you have all the flag options in the quick flag field in the
message
list?

They show up in tasks and in OneNote, but are not there in Mail.
The
Refresh
option F5 is greyed out when I'm in my Inbox. Other suggestions?

They should be there. Did you try resetting the view?

In my current menu category for Options in MS Outlook 07 Mail,
the
menu
for
'follow up' / 'flags' only offers the option of a) setting, and
b)
clearing
the flag.
There are no choices for the due date showing (today, tomorrow,
etc.)
when
in Mail.
But these choices are availabe in MS OneNote. Are these
options
turned
off
in Mail? Can they be turned on?
Thx.
