MS Outlook - Out of Office Assistant

I am searching for information how actually out of office assistant is
working. Maybe question seems to be stupid, but....

Does Out of Office Assistant send just one e-mail to someone, or when I
receive few e-mails from the same person, than the person will receive each
time my out of office massage?

One person - few e-mails - ONE out of office (just by the first e-mail)
or
one person - few e-mails - FEW out of office (as respond to each e-mail of
the same person)

and is it able to change it? I have checked rules and settings, but haven't
seen anything I could use.

I think one out-of-office message is sent to each recipient.

I know if it is connected to an MS Exchange server it sends one out of
office to a single recipient per day regardless of the number of mails he
has sent that day. i.e. 1 - 100 etc.

OOF is one per session per recipient. If you turn off OOF and turn it back
on, it's a new session.
