MS Outlook - Slowing Down Computer?

I recently installed MS Office Pro (OS - XP). While all other components of
the bundle run fine, Outlook, over several hrs begins to slow to a crawl, as
does IE 7. If I close out Outlook, reboot, computer is fine again
(fast/quick), but then, overtime, Outlook again begins to slow to a crawl.
Even while Outlook and IE 7 slow to a crawl, other open programs run
normally. Anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve?
