Hi all

I hope somebody can help me with this question please, I am running
Microsoft vista home premium on my new computer I log onto Microsoft Outlook
Web access to check my work e-mails when away from work. Since I've upgraded
to vista when I click on a new e-mail I cannot write anything in the text box
there is a small red cross in the top left-hand corner I did not have this
trouble when I was using Windows XP professional.

I have spoke to the help desk at work and they'll and willing to help me
because the PC I am using is not works issue machine.

a) microsoft.public.exchange.clients is the right place
for OWA issues as it is part of Exchange, not part of Outlook.

b) You'll want to tell your Exchange administrator to install the hotfix in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/911829 on the server because
you are running
Vista, and that should put the text boxes back on the form.

Thanks, have post in the exchanges forum but got no reply

Well, that part is really for future reference. The solution to the problem
really is the b) option. You could try using Firefox or other third party
browser too. You'll lose some of the advanced OWA functionality, but you
should get the ability to, well, y'know, send an email =)
