MS-Paintbrush pictures get blurry when copied into Word

If I draw something using paintbrush, then put an editing box around
it and copy and paste it into Word, it always becomes a little blurry
when it goes into Word.

This is just a black & white picture. Saving it as 2-color bitmap or
256-color bitmap doesn't make a difference.

What am I doing wrong? Is Word resizing my picture ever so slightly?
Any other methods I can try?
