MS PGothic?

Visio & MS PGothic font conversion

Just started having trouble recently when trying to save visio files, objects
with Arial font suddenly have MS PGothic font. When others open, it looks
like jibberish & they cannot convert back to Arial. Any ideas why this
happens. Seems to be only Visio.

MS PGothic is a Japenese so I would guess there's something with that
drawing, maybe the language in the drawing was changed to Japenese (under
File/Properties/Summary tab) or it had text pasted with MS PGothic font.
But it seems like from reading your post that you save a Visio drawing you
just get text with MS PGothic after saving.

Usually you'll get MS PGothic font on your machine if you add East Asian
font under the Windows' Regional and Language Options, Language tab......or
have an Office language pack installed that installs that font.

I'm curious what version of Visio/service pack are you on, and what version
of Windows.
