MS Producer - Can import the Powerpoint slides??

I'm trying to test whether an embedded Flash file plays successfully after
importing the PPT slides into Producer, but every time I try importing the
slides, I get this error message:

C:\Documents and Settings\rizakag.\My Documents\training_modules\test.ppt
could not be imported. The process cannot access the file because it is being
used by another process.

Does it have something to do with the Flash file? I don't have problems
with other files...

Possibly -- I suspect an embedded Flash file will not work (though I
haven't ever tried it).

It should be easy to test -- just modify the ppt to remove the Flash before
you try the import.

I did, and the PPT imported fine without the Flash movie... so I tried
converting the .swf to an .avi, everything seemed to work fine, I published
it to our server, and I was able to view it, I thought I'd solved the
problem... but 3 other people I asked to test it couldn't view it, their
machines froze and they never got the "Play" button on the Producer file...

Is this production internet facing?

If you supply the url ( to me via email briansullivan @ coursesbywire.com
if you don't want it so public) I will try -maybe I can spot some issue.
