MS PROJ 98 CALENDAR QUERY

Hi, I have customised my calendar to the following setting
using the Option selection:

Default Start Time: 9:00AM
Default End Time: 6:30PM
Hours per day: 8.5
Hours per week:42.5

Then I set the above setting to default.

Problem (as perceived by me):
When I goes to Change Work Time, the default time is still
set as

From: 8:00AM to 12:00PM
From: 1:00PM to 5:00PM

which is not what I want :<

So, I then go and highlight all the working days for all
the months that the project will work through and change
the default working time manually.

Can someone advise if I have done something wrongly such
that the customised timing is not reflecting in the Change
Work Time section.

No, you did not do anything wrong. The two working time settings are
not connected in MS Project. You must change the working time on the
Options>Calendar tab and on the Change Working Time>Standard calendar
in order for it to truly affect your project. If you have matching
start and end times in both places, you're good to go.

I get it now!!!!

PS: I dont have to highlight month by month to change the
work time, just highlight Mon to Fri and it will do the
change for all the years in the calendar :>
