MS PROJECT 2000 - run time error #440

Hi,

I am having problems with an error message coming up in MS Project 2000,
using Analyzed Timescaled Data in Excel.

I click on the tab, go through the options, the get the following errors: -

Run-time error 75
path/file access error

Run-time error 440,
Automation error

An error occurred in COM add in named Analyze Timescaled data Error #440

Automation error.

Could someone, please help me out on this.

Hi Rik

i've experienced problems with analyze timescaled data where clicking the
icon has done nothing at all - rather than returning an error message - i
posted this question back in Oct 2002 and received the following answer:

This has happend to me a few times. Here are some notes that I made the
last time the problem occurred:

To fix the problem with the Analyisis Toolbar being inactive, I did the
following:

1) Registered the following ActiveX controls:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\ADJDATE.DLL

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\ANLYZTS.DLL

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\PERTANL.DLL

2) In Project, go to menu item Tools | Customize | Toolbars.

3) Choose "Tools" category and "COM Add-Ins..." command. Drag this as a
button to a toolbar.

4) Get out of Customize, and click the COM Add-Ins button.

Select the tools from the list.
