MS Project 2002 and WBS better than Primavera???

Manuel

Hi there! My team is currently evaluating MS Project 2003
Professional (Server). One of the challenge my folks are
facing is to be able to use the concept of WBS (Work
Breakdown Structure) in MS Project. Basically the
objective is to define the sub-components of system when
we design a new product so that we can build a history of
effort to develops these sub components.

Thsi was a "simple" task in Primavera. Can anybody help?

Thanks
Manuel

Could you please elaborate on what problems your team is having in using
Microsoft Project to describe the project this way? What is(are) the
perceived gap(s)?

This add-in appears to support Proj 2002 but does not mention Proj 2003. Is
there a newer version for P3003 ?

Most macros and add-ins work just as well in 2003 as 2002.

For any version of Project use public.project
For any version of Project Server use public. project.server

I am familiar with P3e and I cant think of any functionality that the wbs feature has that you could not duplicate in ms project 2002 or 2003
