MS Project 2002: Changing default date in recurring task window

When I am creating a new recurring task the default date in 'Recurring
Task Information Window' is always "Sun 2/2/03". How can I change it
to today's date or to another date ?

I've never seen anything like that. The default start date is supposed to
be the current date on the local machine. Check the system date ... or,
possibly, the bios date.

Hello,
The default Start Date in the Recurring Task Information is the Project
Start Date (Project / Project Information...)
I'm afraid that there is no way to change it.

I couldn't remember so I simply created a quick test file. When I read your
message I went back and opened a file from two years ago. Sure enough ...
creating a recurring task used the project start date.
