Hi,
I'm new to the newsgroup.
I was using MS Proj 2002 today and created a new project,
baselined it and viewed the Earned Value Table under the
Tracking Gantt.
This is what I found:
1. If all the tasks have been sequenced before baselining,
after baslining the BCWP for each task is zero.
2. If no task has been sequenced when baselining, the BCWP
has a value based on the resource rate and duration but
the moment you sequence it after that, the BCWP reverts to
zero for the "sequenced" tasks; non-sequenced tasks
continue to hold the BCWP value.
3. If I use a project file created under Project 98 and
converted to 2002, everything is fine. When I converted
it to MS Project 2000, my BCWP values were reverted to
zero.
Has anyone encountered this before? If you did, did you
manage to fix it? How?
Regards,
Ravi
