With MS Project 2003 Standard installed on a Citrix
server, and group policy applied to restrict access using
My Computer, a user can browse the entire network using
the various tree view windows (File Save As, File Open,
etc etc). How can I ensure that the user is able to
browse only the designated MS Project folder and its
subfolders?
This seems to have been addressed for MS-Project 2000,
but the hot fix applies only to that version. See KB
article 329738.
There is also an article on using system policies in
Project 2002 at
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/project/2
002/all/reskit/en-us/prk_psyspolicies_3519.mspx
However, I find nothing equivalent to this for Project
2003.
This has to be a very very common problem. Has anyone got
a fix?
Thanks,
Zahir
