Dear All,

The following is the error message I got when I tried to connect to the
project server by MS project 2003 client.

Any suggestion for this?

You cannot publish projects that are not enterprise projects. Try one of the
following:
Your project might not be saved as an enterprise project. Save your project
to the Project Server and then try again.
Check with your Project Server administrator. Permission to publish
information for non-enterprise projects is set by the Project Server
administrator. To permit publication of non-enterprise projects: Select
"Enable enterprise features" on the Server Configuration page of the Admin
area within Microsoft Office Project Web Access 2003.
You might not be connected to a Project Server. You must be connected to the
Project Server if you want to publish your project as an enterprise project.
To setup a connection to a Project Server: On the Tools menu, point to
Enterprise Options, click Microsoft Office Project Server Accounts, and then
click Add.

If you opened an MPP file and then save it, you'll get this type of error
unless, as said in the error code, you have changed the admin settings. If
you need to publish and mpp file, you have to import it instead.

If you open an .mpp file and then try to publish it to Project Server, the
default settings in the system prevent you from doing so, which is the
source of your error message. The .mpp file is known as a non-enterprise
project or "local" project. The system only allows you to publish
enterprise projects, which are projects stored in the Project Server
database.

To make this non-enterprise project an enterprise project, click Tools -
Enterprise Options - Import Project to Enteprise. Pay special attention to
the page in the Wizard dealing with resources, and make sure you map each
resource in the project with a corresponding resource in the Enterprise
Resource Pool. Hope this helps.
