MS Project 2003 email notification using Lotus Notes R5 email

We use MS Project Professional configuration and our Lotus Notes clients 5 do
not have the MAPI client installed. What steps do I have to follow (on both
the Project side and Lotus Notes side) to properly configure and use the
email notification optiion on Project?

I am also using Lotus Notes R 6.5.1 and would like to utilise the email
notification functionality available in Project Server 2003. Is this
possible?

Works fine with R 6.5.1 - must have the MAPI object installed\configured
properly.

Duh.

I am using LN R5. Having trouble installing MAPI driver. System keeps hanging.
