Hi all. Need help to repairing MS Project 2003 server. (SP2a)
My Project manager noticed this error after trying to list Status reports
from employees. Somehow it ain't possible, any more, to pick up dates from
drop down calendar in Status reports, so you can't see any reports,
everything is undefined. The same thing happens if you try to create a new
request report. Very strange.
Here is an error log:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: PjTraceSvc
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2
Date: 26.9.2006
Time: 13:09:44
User: NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE
Computer: [NAME]
Description:
A message passed to the tracing service had an incorrect format, the
message
follows
2˙1000˙<Error><Component>PjCal</Component><File>C:\Office\devsp\project\WebClient\source\client\pjcal\PjCalendar.cpp</File><Line>772</Line><Number>0x8000ffff</Number>
Assert
Detected. The error code was also included.
</Error>
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I'm not sure, but I suspect problem accured after the last updates from
WSUS. I tried running upgdb112.cmd script but it didn't help. I didn't find
someone with the same problem searching Google so my next stop is here. I
really hope that some can help me start this thing goiing again.
Thank you in advance.
