MS Project 2003 - Show Days of project

T

TTeam

I want to show events in days of a project instead of the start date. For
example, if there are 50 days in a project - I want to be able to scan the
start date column and see what events are starting on day 5 or day 35.

In addition to Trever's great solution, the time scale can be changed to
reflect Project Days in the timeline horizontally on the Gantt Chart.

On the main menu, Format/Timescale... You will have many choices in the
"label" dtopdown.

What I like about Trever's solution is that it will allow for filtering and
grouping as well.

Hi TTeam,

The start and finish dates will show dates -- you can see the
formatting choices for those through Tools > Options, view tab --
date format. You can change the display at the top of the Gantt
chart through Format > Timescale. You can change the timescale to
show Day 1, Day 2 etc. from start.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
