MS Project 2003 (SP2)

Hi,

We are in the process of trying to upgrade from Project 2003 to 2007. We
presently have SP2 installed for 2003. We have tried to go to SP3 but cannot
as we keep on getting an error message that our custom views are not
available (and we have many).

A colleage has Project 2007 installed on their machine and I was successful
in opening a 2003 file on this machine, and everything (appeared) to be
working okay.

Is it okay to upgrade from 2003 to 2007 without having SP3 installed? Has
anybody gone from 2003 (SP2) to 2007 (SP1).

I learned the first time round to remove all of the passwords!

Thanks in advance
Rowie

HI,

There are no problems that I am aware of. People with Project 2003 SP3 can
read 2007 format files. Sorry I don't know why your SP3 install fails.

Obviously test on one PC first!
