MS Project 2003 Standard - Demo version

I have loaded Microsoft Project 2003 Demo and once I indent a task and the task above becomes a summary task, I cannot outdent again. Is this normal?

No.

Project has a single level "undo" so if you are attempting to outdent by
using the "undo" button you must indent and undo in that sequence without
any intervening edits. Doing an indent, new task and undo will simply
delete the new task. If this still doesn't explain what you are seeing,
please reply with a more detailed, step-by-step description of your actions
and clicks.

This is not "normal" in sense that it's actually not supposed to work
that way but it is a known bug with the Standard edition. MS has
promised a fix is in the works but no release date has been announced.
