MS Project 2003 Task Assignment conflict

Hi,
I am using MS Project Professional 2003 and I have an issue, I am
assigning a task in my Project Schedule to Team member 'A' and when
publish this project then this same task is also showing in another
Team members 'B' Task list but I have not assign this task to Team
member 'B'. I don't know why in Team member 'B's Task list is showing
this Team member ‘A’s Tasks.
Please any one have idea why is happening, it will be very
appreciated..

At any point, was Team Member B assigned to this task and published? If so,
then the assignment would show under Team Member B but with an X next to the
assignment representing that it has been deleted. Let me know if this was
possibly the case.
