When save the existing task and compress the file the task name disappeared.
I have reinstalled MS Project 2003 and installed update SP2, but still
doesn't help. What am I doing wrong?

Do you mean: "When I collapse a task, the tasks indented below it disappear.
How do I make the tasks appear again?"

If that is your question, select "Show" and then "All Tasks" from the
Formatting toolbar. If that is not your question, can you be more clear?
