MS Project 2007 - completed tasks still shows in PWA

Hello,

What could be the possible reason/s on why the 100% completed tasks still
appears in PWA of the assigned resource as over due tasks? These tasks are
marked as 100% complete without actual work charged against them.
The "Show only Current tasks" on the view option of the My Tasks page is
also marked with check.

Help please....

Hello Janica,

It is probably due to the Task settings and display (under Server Settings
in PWA)
It is how you have defined the parameter for Current tasks. If it is for
example set to 10 days then tasks that have been completed 10 days ago will
still be in My Task. For a definition of Current Tasks:

Define Current Tasks
When viewing their current tasks, resources will see all tasks that are
currently in progress in addition to tasks that are scheduled to start within
a certain number of days from the current date or those that have completed
within the same number of days in the past.

If they are marked complete without actual work charged to them, you should
check to make sure that there is no remaining work value associated with
these tasks. This might explain the behavior. If you find remaining work
values, set them to zero.

Hello Marcel,

I have checked our Task Settings for Current task, the parameter is set to
14 days...I am wondering...there is one task that has been closed without
actuals on 10/27 but still appears on PWA on 11/17, it is beyond 14 days,
what could be the reason for this? help pls....again....thanks.....
