Running SBS 2k3 std., I think I want to install Project on a 2k3 member
server. Can't find my scenario in doc. or posts, not sure how to tie
everything together i.e. sharepoint.

Please help.

Please be specific and don't use abbreviations that are not clear. What is
your question?

(a) You want to install Project. Project what?
MS Project? Which version?
MS Project Server? Which version?
Please be specific.

(b) You want to tie what together with what?
Please be specific.

(c) SharePoint. What about SharePoint?
SharePoint Services?
SharePoint Portal?
Please be specific.

I want to install Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 on a Windows 2003
Server Standard Edition that is a Member Server in my domain. I have MS SQL
2000 Server Standard Edition installed on this member server.

I am currently running Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition
as my domain controller.

Since SBS includes Windows Sharepoint Services & sinces SBS is my domain &
includes most/all of the accounts that MS Project Server 2003 is asking me to
create, I am trying to figure out the installation steps.

I am trying to figure out if I can utlize the services already running on my
SBS server instead of duplicating them on my member server.

Thanks,

Corey

Corey:

SBS domains are problematic, IMO. I suggest that you install everything you
need for Project Server on the Project Server machine and use SBS for domain
auth only when it comes to this application.
