MS Project 98 and 2003 installed give error when open file

I have both versions on my PC. I've tried to find the 98 version and
uninstall it, but I can't even locate it. I try to open a 2003 file and get
an error that Project 98 can't open this file and that I need a converter. I
do hae Project 2003 installed on my workstation. What is the problem? What
is causing this?

Perhaps the file association is broken.
Try opening project 2003 (either by picking it from the start menu or going
to the programs folder and finding winproj.exe there.) and then opening the
file.

Also you might try going to where the programs are located to find the 98
version, or go to the menu for "installs & uninstalls" it should be listed
there.
