MS Project 98 install/open problem

Hi all,
I am trying to install MS Project 98. The install seems
to go through fine. Once I click on the program to run
it though, the logo box appears as normal, but then
disappears and nothinhg else happens, the program doesn't
open.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me
know.

Did you install SR-1? Do you have Norton Antivirus running?.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your feedback. SR-1 was installed and Norton
was not interfering. Unfortunately I could not resolve
the problem.
I installed MS Project version 2000 and that worked fine,
so it was something in MS project 98 and the domain
profile I was logged in as.
