MS Project and Agile Sprints

Does anyone out there have way to create and maintain Agile Sprints and
burndown charts with MS Proj Server 2007?

It's not an area I'm familiar with, but I'll have a stab.

Sprint Progress = Hours Remaining
Release Progress = Planned vs Actual Work
Product Progress = pre determined milestones throughout the duration of the
sprint

Use a task field or summary task to identify which sprint each tasks relates
to.

Using the information above, Burn Down charts can easily be created using
visual reports, reporting services or excel services.

Paul,
Thanks for the reply. You mention the Visual reports, reporting
services and Excel service how have you used them.

I've personally not used Project/Server for scrum, but it you could create a
burn rate chart

X Axis - Time
Y Axis - Remaining hours (summary of all sprint tasks)

Milestones could be plotted along the X Axis as they are achieved.

Plotting baseline and actuals in the same chart would show progress.

Created the reports in excel or reporting services from the OLAP cube would
be easiest way of achieving this type of chart.
