MS Project and WSS

Hi all,

Can somebody tell me if it is at all possible to integrate WSS with MS
Project 2003? And if so can you direct us to instructions of how this
is
possible and the impact it has on our current install of WSS.


Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

It is certainly possible if you are using Project Server 2003. Is that
what you meant? If you are asking if it is possible to integrate WSS
with Project 2003 Standard or non-Project Server, then the answer is
not that I am aware of.

It should have been done during install, but it can be done post
install. The Microsoft installation guides walk you through the
process. You can download them for free from Microsoft.

installation guides?

We currently have an install of WSS and we are in the process of
installing MS Project server 2003. Will the installation guides walk us
through how we integrate our current WSS install with the new install
of MS Project 2003? If not, can you advise how we go about this and the
impact (if any) this may have on our install of WSS.

I asked the question in the WSS newsgroup then after reading some
threads it said that I was best to ask such a question in this
newsgroup. Apologies to upset you, I am not a member of this newsgroup
so thought I'd post my same question in here as not to waste peoples
time in the WSS newsgroup.

Why reply to this message when you've already posted a reply in the WSS
newsgroup. Surely that is a waste of your time!

I think the Install Guide will provide enough information for you to do
the work. I can't answer the rest of your questions as I am not
technical enough regarding WSS nor do I know enough about how your WSS
is configured.
